| Comment | It’s one thing speaking a language and another thing teaching it. Her understanding of grammar rules is much better than my equivalent in English.
When we first met, she’d often ask me why sentences were constructed a certain way and I just couldn’t explain, you just know these things being a native speaker (plus I forgot all that stuff from higher English).
Also it would be a lot of work on her part! Definitely a complicated language so a trained teacher would be a better option to learn quickly. I can certainly practice it by speaking with her though!! I need a good base though. |
