I think you’ve got the same thing I had. It was awful and to make matters worse, I had covid directly before. This was worse and longer lasting than covid though. I eventually got antibiotics from the doctor that sorted it out. Despite what people were saying in the comments, it wasn’t simply a virus, it was an infection and the doctor said it was also acute Pharyngitis. The doctor might have only given me the antibios because it was really affecting my asthma though. My son had the same thing and he didn’t get any. I was off work for two weeks and I still have a really bad cough and coughing up stuff weeks later, so I’m still not better. |
