| Comment | As mentioned above, I’d definitely look further afield than just around the west end area (if that’s the only place you’ve been looking). This is the most sought after and more expensive area. Look a good few miles out (in any direction) and you may have more luck. Most areas have good transport links into the city so your partner wouldn’t struggle to get into uni. My partner is a lecturer at the uni, we live about 10miles away and he either drives in or gets train in morning. |
