I disagree. There absolutely is a big difference in my opinion. My dad lived in Possil in the late 70s and was called all sorts, including having his windows smashed and being spat at due to the colour of his skin. There is a big difference in that sort of behaviour and a wee old lady telling me she likes curry.

These situations should be dealt with differently. Also, I'm sick of people being offended on others behalf. Calling everything racist trivialises real racism, which in my opinion is thinking people of another colour are lesser than you. Like I said most people just need a wee educational chat if they say something inappropriate.
