I feel like there are 2 big wins for the litter issue, one seems like it should be an easy uncontroversial no brainer, other one little tricker.

1. Ban pickups using bags, the fact that GCC uses these is insane, I feel like half the litter on the street is from these being torn apart by seagulls.
2. Give a couple of police a nightshift walking up Sauchiehall, hand out on the spot fines for drunk teens throwing their kebab on the street. Pays for itself and sends a clear message that literring is not ok.

Tired of hearing "The council should hire more street cleaners", the council hire loads, there isnt enough money on earth to hire enough people to clean up the vast amounts of litter that glaswegians produce. Did you see what Glasgow looked like after the street sweepers went on strike after one day?!
