[Yorkhill Green Spaces](https://www.facebook.com/groups/120814735177832/?ref=share) organise Sunday afternoon sessions of gardening, litter-picking and wildlife recording in Yorkhill Park, Overnewton Park and Cherry Park. They take place every two weeks and you can just help out once if you’d like.

[South Haugh Conservation Day](https://search.volunteerscotland.net/opportunity/a0g1p00000CNnYTAA1/south-haugh-conservation-day-volunteer) takes place every other Thursday and commitment is flexible.

[Urban Roots](https://www.urbanroots.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/activities-timetable-UR-19-20-EXTERNAL.pdf) run many conservation sessions across the city.

Sustrans organise [litter-picking sessions](https://www.sustrans.org.uk/volunteer-vacancies/volunteer-litter-pick-organisers-coatbridge) monthly.

You should also check out Friends of Parks groups, the [Conservation Volunteers](https://www2.tcv.org.uk/cgi-bin/volunteer/activities), [Glasgow Countryside Rangers](https://glasgow.gov.uk/countrysiderangers) and [NatureScot](https://www.nature.scot/about-naturescot/working-and-volunteering-us/volunteering-naturescot).

There are also some directories like [Volunteer Scotland](https://search.volunteerscotland.net/) and [Scotland’s environment](https://www.environment.gov.scot/get-involved/project-finder). And some more ideas from NatureScot [here](https://www.nature.scot/doc/environmental-volunteering-useful-organisations-and-contacts-list).

Good luck and have fun! :)
