In-person is really preferable for me. I have depression and struggle with focus and that's where I've fallen short on my last few attempts at learning to code - it's all been very much me staring at a screen or talking to people online and not always able to articulate what I'm struggling with, or feeling motivated to keep going in a vaccuum during a low period. I think an in-person community would do a lot to help me learn better.
I won't say no to more online resources though! |
