You seem convinced everyone is heading for disaster but I think in reality the only people that will face disaster are those who have bitten off too much, that number will be thankfully few.
Plus to be honest without sounding cruel if anyone has really maxed their budget out on the basis of thinking the economy couldn’t change or interest rates can’t rise then it’s their own fault, as harsh as that sounds.
People didn’t need to spend £300k on a flat in Pollokshields/shawlands when they could have spent half of that on a house 10 mins away in Rutherglen. |
