For someone brought up in a working class area I've always thought of these areas as Posh, even in the 90s:
* Bearsden (East Dun)
* Newlands (South side)
* Dowanhill (West End)
* Hyndland (West End)
* Park Circus/Terrace (Central/West End)
* Newton Mearns (East Ren)
* Garnethill (Central)
These are areas that, even now I'm firmly in the middle-class wage bracket, are entirely out of my budget even in my wildest dreams. |
