| Comment | That's a weird one because Kilsyth is one of the last G postcode areas before the FK area and FK folk is different eh. So you get a mix of accents there and a wee bit of their own dialect mixed in. My first girlfriend was a Kilsyth lass with an FK dad and a native Kilsyth dad and had some weird words for stuff. Then in Cumbernauld just next to Kilsyth which again is a final G area before FK is mostly slang Glaswegians, so it sometimes doesn't matter how far away out of the city a G area is. New towns like Cumbernauld were populated by Glaswegians ages ago. |
