I was born into the east end of Glasgow and moved to and grew up in Giffnock when I was younger (culture shock, I know). I honestly think that’s about as posh as it gets in Glasgow. Some areas of Newton Mearns are wealthy and and snobby but I wouldn’t class it as ‘posh’. Lots of people from elsewhere who made a lot of money and moved there for bragging rights.
