| Comment | I imagine McGill's would be very interested in the takeover, and I imagine the Council would be in favour of a Scottish company taking over just for the optics of the thing, but you're right in that the competitions watchdog would have thoughts on that subject. Then again, competition in public transport is nonsense, you can't pick your travel by provider or price, you pick whichever bus takes you from Point A to Point B in the shortest time possible and pay whatever the operator of that bus route asks. |
