Comment	i feel like a growing number the people who are on the road in glasgow don't want to be driving and/or shouldn't be driving. the big reason is because things like public transport/active transport in this city aren't viable options. so you get many people who don't want to drive forced to do so. if you don't like doing it and you see it as a chore, you're not going to be giving it your full attention. i see this out when i'm driving, when i'm on foot and when i'm on my bike. so many people driving while texting, running red lights, parking on pedestrian crossings, parking in cycle lanes, parking on the pavement, speeding through pedestrianized areas/school zones. it's fucking horrible. best thing you can do if you have footage is give it into the police and explain this was in a school zone and he basically fled the scene. you have his reg but that's often not enough. i had a case where a driver ran a red light i was waiting at on my bike, coming 3 inches away from my handlebars going a good 20mph through the lights. it was caught on camera and i even caught up with the car at the next set of lights getting his face in the footage but police said the car wasn't registered to him and the person the car was registered to wouldn't say who it was driving the car so they could do nothing. but if he has dashcam like you said, that can be used against them. just don't expect a speedy investigation. took the police 6 months to even look at that footage and by the time i'd heard anything back, it had been a year.
