| Comment | Make sure it’s insured, get a dog tracker device on it (I’ve got Tractive but there are ones without subscription), get a decent lock and an obvious bulky chain (but tbh seasoned thieves may have something to cut through it), get a ring doorbell that will alert you to movement outside and record any shenanigans, or cctv. You can also buy a padlocked bike shed that a moped may fit inside. If thieves want to get in, they will, but it’s just another layer of protection. Please just remember that nothing is worth getting hurt for. Mopeds can be replaced. I hope you’re not too shaken. |
