| Comment | While roll and sausage (and pie) has come up below, I actually think the answer here is the roll itself. You really don't get the same rolls anywhere else on a regular basis, and they are often termed "Glasgow Rolls" when they have ordered them in from Mortons or wherever.
It's not mad fancy, but even when I was staying in Inveraray, only and hour and a half outside of Glasgow I used to await the Friday delivery of Glasgow rolls as you couldn't get them any other day! |
