No, but pakora/pink sauce as a standalone takeaway item is way more common in West of Scotland than most of the UK - we're not the only ones that have pakora but we're way more into them. The massive piles of bright red chicken sitting waiting for pubs to close is definitely a Glasgow phenomenon
