Well thats a city centre Uni so you have direct trains in from all over the surrounding area into glasgow which opens up a lot of options to you including Paisley which is more affordable but still I nice place to live and work providing you avoid the rough bits but just ask back on here when you are flat searching for advice on areas you are looking at.
