Expecting this to be controversial, but keep calm and just wait for Popeye's to open in a few months honestly.
Other than that, the Chicken Place on Gallowgate is fairly decent. There's also a Chicken Cottage in the southside, but I've never tried this one and their quality in London varies *wildly* so it could go either way.
