| Comment | Just a word of warning: Quite a lot of charity places treat volunteers like slave labour and will try rip the piss out of you as a result - Remember that you are still entitled to take breaks, and laws regarding employer responsibilities such as PPI, safe workplace etc still apply. I personally had the cunt ripped out me before by the BHF Furniture and Electrical shop in Partick. I would avoid that place like the plague, the charity is great but that shop is a workhouse run by arseholes who'll get you lifting sheets of glass in unsafe conditions and nag you to get back to work while you're still picking shards out of your face. I am not exaggerating for effect. |
