Your faith in the infallibility of the super human beings the test examiners are is really cute.

But you know what?

On her last test she failed on two things:
- not observing the road. The examiner said she hasn't noticed car coming from the right and pulled in front of her. The truth is: she did noticed it, it was signalling it turns left and she only pulled out when it slowed down and started turning - so when it was safe to do.
- not taking the correct path on the roundabout. On a small roundabout she went the round way, because the last examiner failed her for going to close to the central island saying she is cutting the bend. It was irrelevant in any case as the roundabout was only one line wide.

What examiner has NOT noticed is that on one traffic lights the right turn lane was backed to allow big vehicle to turn. She missed the stop line and stopped instead along with the car on the left side.

So should she fail this particular test? Yes, for crossing the stop line on red light.

Was she failed on that? No. She was failed on two instances when she 1. Did nothing wrong. 2. Drove exactly as the previous examiner told her in her debriefing after her previous test.

So she did one serious mistake. The examiner did three.

The thing is the examiner has power over her and there is no way to put the examiner to scrutiny.

Don't worry, we left Britain and she'll easily pass her test in this country, I am sure of that. But your problem with flawed system of British driving tests remains. It's not about my girlfriend. It's about this issue.
