Luckily I live in 2022 where society has progressed past basic hunter gatherer necessities. What's wrong with keeping an animal in captivity all its life, its not aware of its existence and its never known any better. Its happy when it gets fed and that's it, surely killing an animal that's known freedom is much worse cause you are taking that away
