In the same position as you where I fancy a crack at software engineering and also investigated both the masters and bootcamp route.
Spoke to lots of people about it and the general gist of the advice I got was if you have experience relative to the industry (in my case I’ve worked as a BA/PM/PO and various other things) then a bootcamp and building up a portfolio is the way to go, but if you’re coming from something totally different then a masters is probably best(although still build a portfolio).
To be honest though I checked out a few bootcamps and the only ones that impressed me were Codeclan and Makers, probably would go with them if I ever make the jump. |
