| Comment | At 45K (comfortable) I could start to work less and do more of what I enjoy (cheap travel, DIY, gardening).
At 55k (ideal) I could start more expensive hobbies that I’d like to do such as Marine fishkeeping and I’d be able to look at building a small house in the future.
At 65k - (dream) I’d probably drop a full day a week and have a 3 day weekend to do more of these things. I’d maybe be able to actually build a small house and grow a wee woodland. Probably be able to retire earlier too.
This would assume my partner is earning around 40k and between us we would be comfortable.
