Especially if you live alone? Nah it’s much more comfortable for a couple who are both earning but don’t have any kids. That’s the sweet spot. Sharing the bills, but essentially still having single person expenses. Plus you’ve got double the amount of tax free allowance under the same roof. You do lose your single person council tax discount though I suppose.
