| Comment | Having grown up in Coatbridge, it's not as bad as it used to be. There's good bits and bad bits. I'd avoid anything near Monkland, kirkshaws, kirkwood and shawhead. But a lot of young families have moved out there because its cheap and has good amenities. 3 train stations for the town (sunny side, blairhill and kirkwood) and lots of bus links too. The country park is fab and I spent most of my childhood kicking around there |
