Comment | IF it wasn't a private rental you could pay to have it put back to a 'standard' meter which is *always* cheaper than pre-pay. How good are you with balsa-wood and plastic? You can get clear PVC sheets big enough to cover tenement windows very cheaply on ebay. Make a frame with 1 inch wood and glue or staple it together. Instant removable double-glazing. Cost about a tenner a window (that's the high estimate) |
