| Comment | I have heard good things about Lennoxtown / Kirkintilloch / Lenzie areas, Lenzie has a train station and Kirkintilloch is a 10 min walk to the station. Lennoxtown is further out and has a half hourly bus X85 which is fairly decent but takes about 50 minutes. Personally I love Lennoxtown as it has the Campsie Fells which are beautiful to look at and change daily, its seems a world away from Glasgow, also has a b\*tch of a hill which is great fun to cycle up and down! |
