Assuming from your comments about not leaving the hotel that you're maybe in a bad place mentally. If you want something a bit more serene there's Drumpellier Country Park right next to Coatbridge and the Sumerlee Industrial museum in the town itself. If you do find yourself capable though, Glasgow city itself is quite nice for a stroll, lots of interesting architecture and interesting neighbourhoods, the West end is quite beautiful and has a lot of attractions like Kelvingrove park and museum (free entry).

And don't let folk in here put you off, Coatbridge is a bit grey but a lot of London is probably 10x as dangerous as Greater Glasgow
