I mean, IMO it's inclusive in the same way that women-only chess tournaments are inclusive - they're not meant to keep people out of chess (the vast majority of chess events are open to everyone), but they bring people in who may be more comfortable with playing with other women in a game that's mostly male-dominated despite there being no real physical reason why that's the case.
