There are landlords down my bit who buy the 2 bed flats then rent them to students as student accommodation for like 600 each. The whole place should be 600 at best. Scum. I read a story on another sub, about a guy who was pally with his landlord and mentioned that they got a promotion and had a couple hundred into their savings each month now. Within a couple days he gets told rent is going up by a couple hundred. His own fault but still what the fuck?
I like the wee ones at the Abbey but have never seen a listing to see what they go for. Same with the new ones down beside the Piazza.I like the Elipta as well, never figured it was as low as 495 mind, always thought it was higher end. Easily 850 for one now I reckon if not into the grand+ area.
I've never had a rent increase. Everyone else gets them it sounds like but I've been 350 for 7 years and no indications otherwise. I reckon this place is paid off and the guy just doesn't give a shit.
You're not supposed to buy a house. Pay your private rent and say thank you to your lord for providing housing. |
