When your mood drops, your activity levels drop. When you experience less cool shit, your mood drops and your activity levels drop further. It's a nasty cycle.

One of the first thing my therapist recommended for low mood was behavioural activation. In other words, do something/anything. Plan three things you *could* do and reflect on your mood before and after.

Stuff that worked for me: Parkruns, gym, reading, playing thoughtful video games, cooking technical dishes, scenic drives.

Stuff that didn't work for me: Gardening, cleaning, comfort television.
