| Comment | I'm incredibly tired and fed up. I worked as a care worker all through covid, doing 50-60hrs a week and putting a lot away into savings. I still can't afford to buy a house and I'm less likely than ever to be approved for a mortgage. In the mean time I'm looking to rent with my partner and looking at areas that aren't necessarily the most desirable. Even if we can afford the rent, places are asking for £1,500 as a deposit which we just don't have yet. Atm I'm living in a flat share that's infested with mice and he's living with his mum.
If I think about it too much I'll cry
