I think contacting 101 first and Deliveroo second is your best bet. There is absolutely no reason he should be trying to open your door other than for something nefarious. I’m sure you and family are in no danger now he’s been and gone but you could be saving someone going through something nasty further down the line!
Edit: I guess one possible reason is if as you were taking a while to answer he thought he might be knocking on some sort of small close door some house/flats have and tried to see if there was a door after the door. Still worth a call to 101 imo. |
