I was in this situation last November. I booked an appointment at Paisley to get it sorted. It's worrying and sucks but defo try for appointments in other areas. You can buy the mini pill in Boots to tide you over contraception wise while you wait (if mini pill suits you, this is what I did to avoid threat of unwanted pregnancy while I waited for coil swap appointment).
