It’s not a term used at all in autism now, nationally and internationally. There has been a change in definitions that got rid of the five categories which included Asperger’s at the mild end. It’s now just autism (or Austin’s spectrum disorder/ASD) and then severity by level 1, 2 or 3 but how much support is required
