What you’re describing could be signs of depression. Or it’s possible there is both (pretty common for adults with ASD to have depression. And he might get seen a bit faster for depression via nhs. Or could get him evaluated +/- treated for depression privately with the added bit of a psychiatrist/psychologist seeing him could give him advice on if full assessment for autism is worthwhile. |
