Citation reminder arrived on the Saturday, called up on the Wednesday. My company's HR dept is slow as hell so I was told just to write it off if I get called up. So I went through the whole debacle.
Called every morning, until the Friday when I got the summons, to come in on the Tuesday.
20 people. 15 jurors, 5 reserves. I was reserve 3. Two jurors managed to get out of it on the day so they took reserves 1 and 2.
Basically what I'm saying is, keep calling up until the day you're actually summoned. Because you probably won't get called up on the day your letter says. |
