| Comment | I much much prefer the train, and I think it works out at almost the same amount of time (especially if you are planning a day to see London?).
I've gotten the train many times, I've never struggled to get my luggage in a space, other than one time my train was cancelled and I had to get on the next one so 2 trains in one, had to sit on my luggage in the bit between compartments, it was fine.
To be honest, I recently have begun buying the Premium Economy tickets, I highly recommend it. It's normally £25 extra so a bit more to pay per ticket (this is returns). You get first class space but with none of the bits I wasn't bothered anyway (like the meal service). The carriages are normally half empty. |
