1. Fit a muzzle _or_ use a "Halti"/head collar
1. Use a control harness **and** learn how to use it (you don't let the dog pull you forwards)
1. Always walk the dog holding the lead(s) "cross-body" for increased control.
1. Have the dog wear a warning tabard/jacket
1. Have treats to hand for distraction
1. Advocate for you dog - tell other dog owners in no uncertain (but polite) terms to keep their dog away
1. Obedience training (loads of classes around), you need this more than the dog (that's not a slight, it's reality)

Other than the final point, any large(ish) pet store will have what you need. There's good ones on Victoria, Pollokshaws, and Kilmarnock Roads; as well as a large PetsAsHome in Auldhouse Retail Park.

Chokes are cruel - don't use them. The pain will end up making the dog worse and even more reactive. Positive reinforcement is the way to go.
