To be clear, I agree our government are chaos and those in power are generally shite. There's much the police aren't doing, which they should be doing, to tackle the rising crime in Edinburgh and Glasgow. But those facts have nothing to do with any one MP acting within the means of their job and power or not. Your MP could easily be doing their job by *just* sending a letter. The problem is all the other people in the mix, collectively, being incompetent or unsuitable. Which leads into broader issues with our government. *Regardless*, none of this means it's "not their job". I have a job, but just because I'm rubbish at it, doesn't mean it's not my job. |
