Comment | What would their USP be though? The issue in Glasgow, as I understand it, is that there aren't enough taxi drivers out there as a lot packed it in over COVID to either do something else or retire and there isn't enough to entice them back or bring in new people.
Don't get me wrong, I think for a long time Glasgow was spoiled with a very saturated market of taxis which kept prices low and coverage really good. But I feel those days are just gone and taxis will end up being a luxury for many - which isn't great when we have woeful public transport for much of the population. |
