It confuses me how Uber Eats (generally) charges way more fees than Just Eat and THEN gives you the option to tip your driver, whereas Just Eat is comparatively a little bit cheaper but has no option to add a tip. Annoying as I rarely carry cash.

I generally take the point of view that if I can spare the cash it costs to order in (or go out for dinner), I can spare a few quid to help someone out.

I DO think that wages should be higher and the hospitality industry is wildly underpaid considering how popular it is and essential to the UK Economy, but if you want wages to be higher, support protests and sign petitions. Not tipping will make fuck all difference on that side of things.
