Comment | Yeah, there's all sorts - but I tend to rely on containers that use the same principle as a thermos, as in they have a gasket (so don't let out any heat). You can get ones that can fit multiple trays, though if its just for lunch either a flat rectangular or taller circular one would probably do.
I guess the principle is that as long as a certain temperature is maintained then the food will remain safe to eat. Which is presumably a moot consideration though if you're only going to be keeping the food for a few hours (some of this stuff is rated to keep their contents warm for the whole day inside a freezer...).
