I had one of the upper cottage flats in Mosspark, it was much better than the western heritable style found in Cardonald, which are similar to the Croft foot ones.
We never had any issues, had a family with two kids below us and a couple of guys through the wall. I had no noise complaints from either and noise level from them was fine. Maybe consider that?
