There already is one. There’s an old railway tunnel that runs under Bridgeton and to Parkhead that SPT are considering using as an extension to the subway.

A few years ago Scottish Water closed the part of London Road outside Celtic Park for what was supposed to be two weeks while they did some work. It ended up being shut for six months because they hit the tunnel below and structural engineers had to be brought in to check they hadn’t damaged the integrity of the tunnel.
