| Comment | Yeah a MacBook is needed. Some people in my class rented them from CC. It’s because there are different commands, installs, terminal etc for Macs and PCs and they want everyone working on the same thing. They don’t want to waste time instructing PC and Mac users separately as time is limited. Most dev jobs will be using macs so it’s best to learn on one.
Re: cost…yeah it’s v expensive, but you can pay it up over the 4 months. There are grants available so make sure you ask about funded places. If you’re unemployed or are under 30, I think there is funding available. |
