It's not an electric bus. The Enviro 200 is a low floor diesel engine bus. The MMC is the latest version of this model. MMC means major model change. This version was introduced in 2014 and is widely used all over the UK.
Alexander Dennis do make an electric version and this called the Enviro200EV. Don't think there are any in the old First East network. You will find them kicking around Glasgow that are operated by First Glasgow.
McGills have electric buses in Glasgow as well but they use the Yutong E12. |
