| Comment | Used to love Turquoise, the guys that used to run it were lovely and the scran was always excellent. I worked late nights close by and they’d always let me sit upstairs out the way of drunk crowds while I waited on my food, then get me a cab home. I know they really struggled after The Arches closed down and I think the pandemic was the finally nail in the coffin. They sold up to the Grill Guru guys next door and now it’s shite.
If I knew I was getting my last chicken donner with cheese and extra garlic sarbeni when I did I was have appreciated it more. |
