Business was slowing down due to all the vegan cafes that sprouted up nearby and was barely breaking even. Owner didn't want to change the menu they had since the beginning to accommodate faddy diets and was also overambitious and had been trying to do evening/pre-theatre service with french type of menu which was just not viable with the size of the establishment/equipment and was losing money. |
