Personally I’d get the train back rather than the bus. I feel the train station has better light and more visible. If I could I’d maybe try to sit near a group of other women. I don’t know why but I’d feel safer. Hopefully they back me up if I got harassed and felt intimidated, which is not likely to happen in the first place. More likely you’d get chatting with them anyway.

Just a general safety tip for walking alone is no headphones and body language. Walk confidently even if you don’t feel it. Walk tall, back straight, shoulder down and head up. If you’ve got resting bitch face it’s an added bonus but not necessary!
